Welcome to Desks & Dreams. I’m Heidi, the writer behind the blog. I live in Louisiana, and I have been married for eight years to my lovable husband. Together we have a 4 year old son, so our days are filled with trucks, building blocks, and lots of laughs. We are expecting our second, a girl, in the new year!
When I started this blog, I was teaching middle school English and Social Studies. Now, I am focusing on motherhood but will return to my teaching roots in due time. This blog is my space to share my creative side. I love crafts, reading, making learning activities, and planning parties.
