I was very excited today to receive my bridal photographs from the lovely Jessica Renee Photography. Well, it was really a bridal session for my sister, who got married in December. I got married in July of 2015, a year before we decided to put my dress back on (which was a little tight) and pretend to be a bride one more time. I did not take bridal photos before my actual wedding, so I paired up with my sister and got a few of myself as well. I wanted to have some photos of my dress that I adored so much!

We got all dressed up and headed to Fairview Riverside Park in Madisonville, Louisiana. It’s a lush green park located on the shores of the Tchefuncte River. It was summer in Louisiana, which meant it was swampy and hot, but you can’t tell from the photos!

The dress is Penelope from Watters’ gorgeous Willowby line of bridal gowns.

The illusion neckline was perfect – I didn’t want strapless but I do like my décollotage. The skirt was dreamy and easy to walk and dance in, which was a must! I paired the dress with a simple veil, then added a belt, headband, and earrings for just a touch of sparkle.

Allison and I thought it would be sweet to have some pictures together!
